Michael Gray Griffith offers a graphic account, one echoed across the Tasman. It is a story that attests to the co-operation, soul and humanity that exists in the populace of all nations. Let us appreciate it and be persuaded by it. Then let us recognise the self-evident and manifest DISCONNECTION between The People written about here, and the authoritarians ~ that long list of craven politicians, bureaucrats, businesses, institutions, and corporates dedicated to erasing any resistance to their nightmare of reality, a perverted reality dependent upon division, exclusion and inequality, the suppression of the truth and of those who espouse it, in order to maintain the lie, and its inhumanity.

The time to withdraw social license and submission to government draws ever closer. Even the New Zealand National Ethics Advisory Committee, funded by the New Zealand Ministry of Health, acknowledge the politically crushing reality of that observation. It may quite well become a tangible necessity for life and a counterpoint to the evil and tyranny being imposed upon humanity and upon nations. We must surely deny the stark, terrible reality it promises?

The Disconnect Observed in Ethics – a short summary

The important public consultation document (NEAC 2023) central to this submission, provides clear direction to the medical and political authorities of New Zealand regarding the ethical mores, sensitivities and sensibilities of the population. These characteristics appear to have been ignored by the New Zealand Ministry of Health and by other purported upholders of ethics such as the New Zealand Medical Council and other Boards and Councils of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act in the New Zealand Ministry of Health Pandemic Plan ~ A framework for action (Interim update – July 2024).

The National Ethics Advisory Committee (2023) (NEAC) public survey is briefly summarised here. It stands as a matter of record that New Zealanders gravitate toward ethical behaviour with a proclivity that provides stark contrast to the actions of New Zealand medical and political authorities, business leaders, corporate entities and institutions observed since 2020, and particularly, with the advent of 2021 and beyond.

Well, that's reassuring to some extent but I still won't be visiting any hospital unless it's a broken bone or life or death condition. The mistrust runs deep and I've read others' experiences that are not so positive. Best wishes Michael.
