Coming from an isolated part of NZ, pop 124k, where no one got covid, but all the ones we know who got vaxd became very sick, bedridden in pain for weeks, 2 brain aneurysms, severe vertigo for 6 mths ongoing, permanent lose of feeling in feet as nerves died, heart problems + emphysema, all healthy before this jab, we decided not to let this divide us, + have respected each ones choice. I did get disowned by 1 family member over this, but bonded with other family members who also "did their homework", + found out for themselves the pros + cons. It's time we dropped all mandates + got back on with our lives.

Woah yes coming from an isolated part of NZ, that says a lot that the vaccinated were the ones who got sick. Sad to hear though. That's great that you choose not to be divisive, and made new friendships. Totally agree, it is so important we move forward as a united and free people now. Thanks for your comment.

Not just got on with our lives, but hold those responsible accountable and force them to do their penance.

Great read. Sums up the disbelief and anguish felt by those who questioned the government narrative. I most definitely never thought this degree of judgement and division could occur in NZ. What an eye opener it has been! I for a fact will keep my wits about me and question everything this government says from now on. After all, what kind of government encourages fear and division in the middle of a pandemic? Newspapers, radio, internet articles all emote fear, fear and more fear for the virus and the unjabbed. My trust disappeared a year or two ago.

Thank you. 100% agree with your sentiment there, the govt and MSM have made it impossible for many Kiwis to ever trust them again.

I am not sure how many more of these stories I can read before I succumb to an actual broken heart. May God give us the strength to come together and the wisdom to find a way to a better future.

Oh hopefully not in regards to that first part! ♥️ Absolutely agree with your second sentence, we just have to keep sharing stories, speaking our truths and standing strong to contribute to building a better future for NZ! Thanks for your comment.

Wonder if your PM would take the time to do some real research and read your comments and hear those of thousands of others who have been injured for God know's how long to come.

Listening to the People is NOT a skill which this sordid PM possesses it seems, judging from her utter failure to do so during the 23 magical days when brave and caring Kiwis came together in the People's Parliament Grounds to ask just that of a purely VOTED IN human - voted in for now but , I suspect, NEVER again judging from the mounting anger towards her and her cravenly cowardly crew - not ONE of whom showed up to speak with , and listen to, the People during the time of the Freedom Village.

In fact I doubt that Labour will remain a political force in any future elections. The People will not forget their brutality in sanctioning the police invasion and the violence towards unarmed humans.

I and many many many others with whom I have spoken will never again vote Labour or Greens and will always remember their deafening silence and their refusal to be human and humble towards mum and dad protestors who populated Freedom Village. Why did NO politician ever come to the steps and listen to the cries and the pain of Kiwis whose lives have been mandated into utter loss and chaos and often, health catastrophe and injury?

It is aspects of this torment and pain that are captured here, in this article by the journalist who wrote this powerful, reflective piece.

It is so crucial to keep telling the Truths of the horrors that have been perpetrated on our gentle and loving Kiwis who had the courage to say " This is all wrong "

All this could be equally said of the Canadian PM who calls his people horrific names and subjected legal and peaceful protestors to abhorrent acts of violence. Unfortunately he, like your PM, remain in power to continue to inflict pain and suffering on their people. We live in such sad times.

They are often called "The Terrible Twins" of world politics and it's for the very brutish similarities you begin to outline above- and so many others we could write here. They clearly are under instructions from some overlord to follow the same playbook of total disregard for, and lies about, the People - many of whom told me at the Freedom Village, voted them in to power. NEVER again, is what I heard from so many in Wellington. Never again.
