Oh my goodness. This is so beautifully written. Reluctantly I am leaving the village today, returning home. I have just spent 7 days on the ground speaking and recording adverse Reactions from the Health Forum NZ tent. The tears have flown in abundance, releasing frustration, pain, anger and despair. At last they have found help and validation.

Everything you described is the beauty of what naturally evolved. You couldn’t even plan this to happen. The power of our people is evident. Our village is a true reflection of what leadership looks like, of what commUNITY looks like.

What an honour to be apart of creating one of greatest historically significant moments in my lifetime.

Thank you for that beautifully written descriptive account of what I too experienced twice and wouldn’t have missed FOR ANYTHING! If only life could be like that away from Freedom Camp. Maybe in time!!

An awesome read and insight of the truth which is really going on behind the lines. It's not about vaxed and unvaxed but about the mandates that is crushing many whanau turning them against each other. Where is that loving caring PM that portrayed herself as that model to entice the multitudes to her web? We want our country back, mandates abolished and this government ousted. Thank you to all the wonderful kind hearted people that have contributed whole heartedly in one way or another. The organization of the whole thing is just absolutely fantastic. Thankyou for expressing the real heart of New Zealanders, it has been undercover for way too long under our demeaning and belittling Government suppression.

We can breathe again, believe again and BE

Thankyou for your beautiful expression of this.

Such impressive writings, I am not at the protest, but send funds when I can. Your unbiased reporting gave me an insight to life there in Wellingto. People standing for our freedom from segregation. Thank you and keep it up.

I spent 3 days at the protest and agree that this is a world I could be so happy to inhabit. So why are most in the media so determined to missrepresent it. They even went as far as ascribing the pepper spraying, faeces throwing and runaway car as the work of hostile protestors. Footage clearly shows an officer pepper spraying his own men and the car and faeces throwing were the work of undercover police. https://youtu.be/xAt8F2rIkKA

Great article, have shared.

Last week I was reading Horton Hears a Who by Dr Seuss to my kids at bed time and felt the parallels to today’s NZ society and the persecution of the unvaccinated. The belief, conviction, perseverance and determination and kindness of Horton draws similarities to the anti mandate supporters while the unruly mob oh kangaroos, monkeys, eagles (govt & pro mandate)and the rest of the jungle being those imposing draconian measures.

Then there is the who’s whom once they get enough of their team together are only audible to those that cares(Horton) and it’s only when they pull everyone together their cries for help are heard to those whom have been unwilling to listen (jungle animals)

It goes to show that be we a who or a Horton we can work together to change the trajectory of things!

Keep on keeping on guys. Our “yops” are only gathering volume and strength by the hour.
