Superb shots as always Jonathan. Great commentary too. Welll done.
Thanks for sharing. I imagine you could do an incredible Kiwi documentary going around interviewing freedom types such as the fella at Mad Cafe etc. Just a thought.
I'm way too busy at the moment what with scoping another spot for a Scenic Techno video, moving into doing some political satire, extending gardens, building a rainwater collection system and MCing a freedom Open Mic night etc. Maybe next summer I'll get out on a road trip, inspired no doubt by your splendid Imagery.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos Jonathan. I look forward to enjoying them in person in the near future. Keep up the good work and hopefully we will see you up here in the Far far North one day !
Love your photos. I spent a few months travelling around these spots when I first returned to live in NZ 10 years ago. Brought back all those happy memories. If I didn’t live in Hawkes Bay I’d live in this area. Especially Takaka and Collingwood. Such a rich and nurturing environment. Looking forward to seeing more of your photos.
Thanyou for sharing these; ; In Jan in our camper we toured the South Island but only went up as far as the springs at Takaka We were going to go to Collingwood but the weather was so bad we gave it a miss .Lookig at your photos ,looks like we missed a treat .But at least your photos show me what I could have seen Thanks

Cheers Stephan, yes I got a brief interview on camera of Ngnana... but yes many of those folk would be great. Something for you to do perhaps??

Brilliant shots. Thank you. Bruce's dog kind of looks like Bruce! Did you not do farewell Spit?
The road ends at the carpark and then its an organised tour from there... did not have the time for it this time
Thank you, what a wonderful virtual road trip I had with you - uplifting and inspiring.

We're in Waiharara, Dally valley as we call in, just south of the fishing village Houhora/ Pukenui
